WHAT AM I?
National waste?
Excess baggage?
A farm animal sacrificed for a rich man's feast?
Since when, if you have too many children,
do you just throw some away?
You haven't shown an ounce of compassion for me,
You couldn't even give me a proper goodbye,
Or thank me for my service.
I am not a piece of trash that you can just discard.
I am a person,
A US citizen,
A tax payer,
I have children!
I have done nothing wrong.
I faithfully worked every day.
I have done a good job!
But according to you, my work was unnecessary.
Could you do this to me
If you had to look me in the eye?
Or into the eyes of my children?
And explain why there's less food on the table?
Why me?
Why do I have to give everything...
While others give nothing?
Shouldn't the sacrifice be shared by all?
Those of you who quote the deficit,
Who talk about waste and fraud,
Are you willing to give up your jobs?
Are you willing to part with anything for the sake of the country?
I don't see any billionaires contributing to the cause.
It's no sacrifice to sacrifice someone else!
I don't understand. You've always criticized people not working,
And not supporting their own children.
Then you find the people who do,
And take their jobs away!
What are you thinking?
That I can just go out and get another job?
All the jobs are being eliminated!
And to get the few that are left,
How many people will I have to compete with?
Did anybody really vote for this?
The people just wanted cheaper groceries.
Do they really want this happening to the workforce?
